The Journal was founded in 1979 (the predecessor was Liaoning Urban and Rural Environmental Science &
Technology), which was revised and renamed in Sep 2007. Environmental Protection & Circular Economy, administrated by Liaoning Environmental Protection Bureau, sponsored by Liaoning Academy of Environmental Sciences and Liaoning Society of Environmental Sciences. Mainly published the articles or research results on updated environmental technology or practical techniques for environmental protection work, as well as related articles in circular economy field. we strive to serve environmental protection undertakings by communicating of new or significant information in Environmental protection and recylcle economy, introducing advanced environmental protection techniques or research results in domestic or overseas and exploring the development trend in enviromnental protection.

There are some columns in the Journal, such as:
Brief Report, Information Processing, Environmental Protection Research and Practical Techniques, Recycle Economy Forum, Problem Discussion and so on.
